Francesc Relea, co-founder of audiovisual production company What’s Up Doc and director of the documentary feature film ‘Serrat y Sabína: El Símbolo y el Cuate’, which was presented at San Sebastian Film Festival 2013, and got nominated for the Gaudí Awards, and has since had widespread international exposure.
Francesc was a correspondent for newspaper El País in South and Central America, Mexico and Portugal, between 1998 and 2011. He covered the war in the former Yugoslavia for the same newspaper. Previously, he was part of the founding team of ‘30 Minuts’, a TV3-Televisió de Catalunya programme.
As a reporter, he has travelled to many different countries in Africa, the Middle East and America. His work in television includes, among others, the following reports and documentaries:
